• Accessible to testing personnel for on-site, phone, or electronic support.
• Supervises personnel performing moderate and high complexity testing.
• Monitors test analyses to maintain analytic performance.
• Resolves technical problems and ensures remedial actions when systems deviate.
• Ensures patient results are reported only after corrective actions are taken.
• Maintains procedures and quality control systems.
• Reviews quality improvement data and participates in problem resolutions.
• Implements new test systems and ensures regulatory compliance.
• Participates in departmental budget development and cost-saving opportunities.
• Provides orientation and training to testing personnel.
• Evaluates performance of testing personnel and documents competency.
• Submits regulatory reports and proficiency testing on time.
