Actalent is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator Hematology to support complex drug trials in a cancer center environment. You will coordinate patient visits, consent patients, and collaborate with research nurses to ensure protocol adherence and data integrity.

This hybrid role based in Detroit, MI starts with onsite onboarding and then hybrid work. A Bachelor's degree and 1+ year of patient-facing clinical research experience are required.

Qualifikationen

• At least 1 year of clinical research experience in a patient-facing role.
• Experience on drug clinical trials with some complexity.
• Involvement in patient recruitment and obtaining informed consent.
• Ability to take patient vitals and perform electrocardiograms (EKGs).
• Familiarity with regulatory and data requirements in clinical research.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate and execute study visits for hematology trials.
• Guide patients through visits, schedules, and study expectations.
• Collaborate with research nurses to support protocol procedures and assessments.
• Participate in patient recruitment via referrals, tumor boards, and new consults.
• Review medical charts to assess eligibility and document trial data.
• Obtain informed consent from patients.
• Manage a defined load of ~10 participants with ongoing communication and visits.
• Consent ~12–15 patients per year across multiple hematology trials.
• Coordinate and document patient vitals and basic clinical assessments including EKGs.
• Maintain understanding of regulatory/data requirements and ensure protocol compliance.
