Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Detroit’s hematology team seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to lead clinical trials and advance cancer care. The role collaborates with hematologists and oncologists in a 100% outpatient, Monday–Friday setting.

Outpatient focus, no call, weekends off for now, with opportunities to grow expertise and contribute to the center’s pursuit of NCI Cancer Center designation.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Current Michigan licensure as an NP or PA.
• National certification (ANCC, AANP for NPs; NCCPA for PAs)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
• Minimum 1 year of clinical trial experience as an RN or APP
• Oncology clinical experience
• DEA registration and Michigan Controlled Substance License (PA only); DEA registration (NP only)

The Setup:

100% outpatient, Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts. No call. Weekends off (for now—Saturday clinics coming soon). Work with adult patients in a collaborative care setting where you’ll partner with hematologists and oncology specialists.
