Job summary

Profound Research in Detroit, MI is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to manage all clinical trial activities under supervision, ensuring compliance with study protocols and regulations. You will collaborate with physicians, sponsors, and vendors to advance patient care through innovative therapeutics.

The role requires a bachelor or equivalent in life sciences with 2+ years in trials, GCP and CCRC eligibility, strong organizational skills, and ability to work onsite with cross-functional

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 2 years relevant life science experience OR
• Associate’s degree with 4 years relevant experience in life science OR
• High School Graduate with minimum 6 years relevant experience and 1 year in role
• Clinical Research Coordinator experience
• Successful completion of GCP certification and CCRC within 6 months
• Experience with vital signs, EKGs, blood draws, sample processing/shipping
• Ability to work independently, plan and prioritize with minimal guidance
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication
• Team player able to adapt to changing schedules

Responsibilities

• Conduct and manage all clinical trial activities per protocol and regulations.
• Complete required Profound Research training including GCP and IATA.
• Mentor and train staff on trial conduct and management.
• Lead study startup, vendor management, recruitment, data collection, and regulatory documents.
• Ensure good documentation practices across trial data and records.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers, leadership, sponsors, CROs, and vendors.
• Collect and account for sponsor-provided supplies.
• Other duties as assigned.
