Job summary

Goodwill Industries of South Florida is seeking a Store Associate to support cleaning, stocking, cashiering, processing, and loading in the outlet store, dock, and salvage areas.

You will assist customers, operate the POS, sort and bale items, and comply with OSHA guidelines. This role is physical, fast-paced, and requires teamwork to maintain store image and community support.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail tasks such as cleaning, stocking and cashiering.
• Ability to operate a POS system and assist customers.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced outlet and salvage setting.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning duties including bathrooms, floors, shelves and windows.
• Stocking and sorting merchandise and baling or processing items.
• Cashier duties and handling customer transactions.
• Loading and unloading trucks as needed.
• Assist with forklift operation if permit is available and OSHA rules followed.
• Provide customer service and share store information to enhance sales.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Cleaning duties (including but not limited to) bathrooms, floors, shelves, and windows.
• Stoking responsibilities as determined by the store manager.
• Cashier duties
• Processing: sorting, separating, baling, dumping trash,
• Loading: loading and unloading trucks.
• Helpers with a forklift permit and following OSHA procedures can drive a forklift.
• Customer service activities (including but not limited to customer assistance, pricing assistance, explaining store operations,
• and other techniques that may enhance the store’s sales and community image.
• Other responsibilities as determined by the store manager.
