Job summary

Goodwill Industries of South Florida in Miami is seeking team members to support outlet stores. The role covers cleaning, stocking, cashiering, processing, loading and customer service to help store operations.

You will follow store procedures, assist with forklift where permitted, and work with the team to maintain a welcoming community image.

Qualifications

• Experience with cleaning in retail environments.
• Stocking merchandise per store manager instructions.
• Cashier duties including rung-up items and basic transactions.
• Forklift operation permissible with OSHA-compliant training.

Responsibilities

• Clean bathrooms, floors, shelves and windows.
• Stock merchandise as directed by the store manager.
• Handle cashier duties and basic transactions.
• Process sorting, baling, and trash disposal.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Assist forklift-eligible staff following OSHA procedures.
• Provide customer service and pricing assistance to customers.
• Support store operations as directed by the manager.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Cleaning duties (including but not limited to) bathrooms, floors, shelves, and windows.
• Stocking responsibilities as determined by the store manager.
• Cashier duties
• Processing: sort, separate, baling, dumping trash,
• Loading: loading and unloading trucks.
• Helpers with a forklift permit who follow OSHA procedures are allowed to drive a forklift.
• Customer service activities (including but not limited to) customer assistance, pricing assistance, explaining store operations, and other techniques that may enhance the store’s sales and community image.
• Other responsibilities as determined by the store manager.
