Job summary

UNITED COMMUNITY BANK is seeking a full-time Helpdesk support/ Network Admin to join our technology team, supporting internal users with software, telecom, and network issues. You’ll handle Office 365 Exchange, Citrix, and a range of IT tools from a central help desk.

You will diagnose problems, perform remote troubleshooting, and assist with basic server and network administration, working to keep user productivity high and systems secure. A customer-focused mindset and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university or two years’ experience providing helpdesk support and Network administration
• Knowledge of Active Directory , GPO and basic Lan and TCP/IP skills
• Ability to manage user requests and tickets.
• Proven experience as a help desk technician or similar customer support role
• Working knowledge of office automation products, databases and remote control
• Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products
• Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues
• Customer-oriented and cool-tempered
• Must have desire to learn new skills
• Must have good communication skills
• Must be able to work in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for internal customers seeking technical assistance over the phone or email
• Provide accurate information on IT products or services
• Performing remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques
• Setup of user accounts and client PCs or Terminal.
• Provide support for Office 365 Exchange environment
• Pass on any feedback or suggestions to the appropriate internal team member(s)
• Recommend procedure modification or improvements
• Some administration of cloud based servers and services
