Treating Active-Duty Service Members, Veterans, First Responders, and Frontline Healthcare Workers

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Denver Springs is a 96-bed behavioral hospital located in Englewood, CO. The hospital offers inpatient and outpatient mental health and addiction treatment to adults, adolescents, and their families. We are dedicated to Changing People’s Lives.

As a Help for Heroes Therapist, you will work within our specialty Help for Heroes program as part of our clinical services team. We provide high-quality, evidence-based care tailored to the needs of Active Duty, Veteran, First Responder, and Frontline Healthcare Worker patients. Our approach is patient-centric, culturally sensitive, and highly effective, offering group therapy, family, and individual therapy to improve our patients’ quality of life.

What you will do in this role:

• Provide therapeutic interventions for psychiatric and substance use disorders through group, individual, and family therapy
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation
• Communicate appropriately with clients, families, and referral sources
• Engage in individualized treatment planning and work with patients to meet their goals
• Collaborate with the team to ensure quality care

Salary range: $32.19 - $43.46 per hour. Hired individuals are expected to be paid within this range, though exceptions may apply.

Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or equivalent licensure in Colorado
• Current unencumbered state licensure
• Experience with psychiatric and chemical dependency patients preferred
• CPR and CPI Certification within 30 days of employment
