Help for Heroes Outpatient Therapist

Treating Active-Duty Service Members, Veterans, First Responders, and Frontline Healthcare Workers

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Denver Springs is a 96-bed behavioral hospital located in Englewood, CO. The hospital offers inpatient and outpatient mental health and addiction treatment to adults, adolescents, and their families. We are dedicated to Changing People’s Lives.

As a Help for Heroes Therapist, you will work within our specialty Help for Heroes program as an integral part of our clinical services team. We provide high-quality, evidence-based care tailored to the needs of our Active Duty, Veteran, First Responder, and Frontline Healthcare Worker patients. Our patient-centric, culturally sensitive approach includes group, family, and individual therapies to improve patients’ quality of life.

Responsibilities:

• Provide therapeutic interventions for psychiatric and substance use disorders through group, individual, and family therapy
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and referral sources
• Participate in individualized treatment planning and work with patients to meet treatment goals
• Collaborate with the team to ensure quality care

Salary range: $32.19 - $43.46 per hour. Compensation may vary based on circumstances.

Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or equivalent licensure in Colorado
• Current unencumbered state licensure
• Experience with psychiatric and chemical dependency patients preferred
• CPR and CPI Certification within 30 days of employment
