Help for Heroes Intake Coordinator - PRN (As Needed) - REMOTE

The Help for Heroes program was created to address the unique needs of military personnel, veterans, first responders, and other high-risk frontline professionals. It offers specialized treatment tracks to help individuals overcome challenges related to stress and trauma experienced in the line of duty. The program provides targeted treatment and therapy for those routinely facing trauma, physical and mental stress, and life-threatening situations.

We are seeking an Intake Coordinator to facilitate, support, and assist with the Help for Heroes intake process. This role involves coordinating between the Help for Heroes team and military base referral personnel, commands, and service members. The position reports to the National Director of Operations for Help for Heroes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with facilities regarding new and pending referrals, including travel and paperwork arrangements
  • Follow up on pending referrals
  • Ensure processes align with company philosophy and objectives
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for service members from their base to the facility

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Healthcare Administration, or related field
  • 3+ years clinical or hospital experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license preferred
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with knowledge of legal compliance (e.g., HIPAA)
