Job summary

Verity Integrated Systems in Huntsville, AL seeks a Help Desk Technician II/IT Support Specialist to provide hands-on support in a DoD contractor environment. You will resolve common workstations, Microsoft 365, accounts, and endpoint issues while escalating more complex infrastructure, cybersecurity, or compliance concerns.

The ideal candidate is technically curious, customer-focused, documentation-minded, and able to work in a controlled environment where security and accountability matter.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years hands-on IT support experience.
• Strong Windows 11 troubleshooting and administration.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 suite and GCC High.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, Entra ID, and basic server tasks.
• Onsite work in Huntsville, AL.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 escalation and Tier 2 end-user support.
• Support Windows 11, GCC High, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint.
• Assist with basic Windows Server 2019/2022 tasks.
• Manage AD/Entra ID accounts, MFA, and password resets.
• Onboard and offboard employees and contractors.
• Image and configure laptops, desktops, printers, and phones.
• Support Intune, MDM, and endpoint compliance.
• Assist with STIG-aligned remediation and workstation hardening.
• Troubleshoot network issues (DNS, DHCP, VPN, Wi-Fi).
• Document steps and resolutions in the ticketing system.
• Follow change control, access control, cybersecurity procedures.
• Support in secure environments with limited internet access.
• Escalate issues with technical details.
