Job summary

Whitaker Construction Company is seeking an entry-level Help Desk Technician to provide first-line IT support to our business users in Utah. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, assist with system administration tasks, and grow into Desktop, Application, Network, and Server roles over time.

This role emphasizes customer service, documentation, and teamwork as you learn from senior IT staff and support Microsoft 365, AD, and basic networking in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Entry-level help desk experience or internship acceptable.
• Knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and basic networking.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues with customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line IT support for computers, mobile devices, printers, and software.
• Respond to tickets via phone, email, or chat with timely resolutions.
• Assist with user account management including AD and Microsoft 365.
• Document solutions and contribute to IT knowledge base.
• Support onboarding and setup of new employee workstations.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
