Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking a Help Desk Technician II to support enterprise IT for the Logistics Information System at AMC bases. The role emphasizes end-user support, hardware and software administration, and adherence to DoD security policies.

You will work with mission-critical systems, install and maintain equipment, and help ensure high system availability for global customers. The position requires a Secret clearance and US citizenship, with onsite work in KS.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's Degree required.
• Experience: 3+ years related experience.
• OS/Network knowledge and information assurance concepts.
• US Citizenship and Secret clearance level requirement.
• IAT II certification or DoD 8140 equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Interact with HQ AMC A4 Program Managers to determine requirements.
• Provide research, design, and modifications for enterprise-wide systems and applications.
• Provide end user support for eTools, devices, and Logistics Information System server environment.
• Manage and document equipment installations and software configurations per policy.
• Advise on software and hardware tool utilization and diagnose performance factors onsite.
• Plan, operate and maintain backup systems and track government furnished equipment.
