Job summary

Peraton is seeking Help Desk Technicians for the SITEC-3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance Task Order. The position is located at Camp HM Smith, HI, supporting USSOCOM with 24x7x365 NetOps and end-user device support.

The role encompasses incident management, user assistance, software installation, and IMAC services, with a focus on secure, compliant operations and coordination with multiple site locations. A DoD Secret clearance and 8570.01-M IAT II certification are required.

Qualifications

• BS + 2 years of experience or HS with 6 years or AA with 4 years.
• DoD Secret with ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
• DoD 8570.01-M IAT II certification required.
• General experience includes information systems development, network operations, or related fields.
• Specialized experience includes management of help desks in a multi-user environment, PC OS, and knowledge of email operations; prior supervision of help desk employees.
• Excellent oral and written communication and a positive customer service attitude.

Responsibilities

• Creating tickets within the ITSM tool
• Troubleshooting and repairing end user devices
• Installing and troubleshooting software
• Re-imaging hardware
• Maintaining accounts and tokens
• Resetting CAC/Token pins
• Coordinating incidents and service requests across sites
• Escalating tickets to other IT support groups or vendor support
