Zachary Piper Solutions seeks a Help Desk Specialist to support a long-term, fully funded DoD program in Kansas City, MO. The role provides end-user desktop support across a large enterprise network within the Navy, starting on a night shift with potential schedule transitions after onboarding.

The position requires an active Secret Clearance and IT support experience, with CompTIA Security+ or IAT Level II certification. Compensation ranges from $50,000 to $55,000 with standard benefits.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance is required.
• 1+ year of IT support experience is required.
• CompTIA Security+ or IAT Level II certification (e.g., CCNA Security or CySA+) is required.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems and standard IT service desk procedures is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices, and other network-connected equipment.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity, OS, Microsoft Office, and video conferencing issues.
• Work directly with end users and government personnel to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues promptly.
• Support daily operations of the Enterprise Service Desk, including ticket management, script execution, and call handling.
• Document troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and user interactions within ticketing systems.
• Meet SLAs and performance goals through efficient issue resolution and thorough documentation.
• Escalate complex or unresolved issues to appropriate support teams when necessary.
