Job summary

The Valley Health System is seeking a capable Help Desk Technician to support the day-to-day operations of the VHS IT help desk across multiple facilities in Southern Nevada. You will document calls, troubleshoot desktop and phone systems, and strive for first-call resolution to keep users productive.

Ideal candidates will have 2–5 years of desktop and network support, an Associate degree in CS or related field, and a relevant certification.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in computer science or a related field or equivalent related work experience.
• Two to five years of basic desktop and network technical support in a help desk capacity.
• Proficient in troubleshooting telephone and desktop equipment systems.
• Certified professional in computer maintenance and repair or equivalent work experience.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Qualifications

Education

Associates Degree in computer science or a related field or equivalent related work experience.

Experience

Proficient in troubleshooting telephone and desktop equipment systems.

License/Certification
