Job Description

We’re hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation services to REACH Air Medical Services customers. Safety is a key pillar of our services.

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting salaries from $97,635–$107,398 including 10% geo modifier.
• IFR allowance adds another $5K.
• $15K sign‑on bonus (subject to eligibility).
• Retention bonus plan: $40,000 after 42 months, plus additional bonuses upon completion of program milestones.
• On‑duty housing.
• 7/7 schedule.

Located in Hillsboro, OR.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches as described in the appropriate manuals, including all FAR and company requirements, and maintain aircraft cleanliness.
• Maintain accurate company and regulatory documentation and record keeping.
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift change information to successive pilot and team following protocol for recording company change board details.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

Minimum Requirements

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
• Helicopter instrument rating.
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
• 2,000 total flight hours.
• 2,000 helicopter flight hours.
• 1,000 helicopter PIC hours.
• 1,000 turbine hours.
• Minimum 100 cumulative hours of instrument flight time.
• Minimum 200 helicopter night hours (aided and/or unaided).
• 230‑pound weight limit with flight gear.

Aircraft Experience

• Previous Airbus EC135/H135 or similar aircraft experience preferred, but not required.
