Job summary

Med-Trans is seeking a Helicopter Air Ambulance pilot to join our full-time team in Arizona. You will transport patients with a medical team, ensure aircraft readiness, and maintain compliant documentation. The role requires extensive flight experience and active certifications.

As part of Global Medical Response, Med-Trans emphasizes safety, accountability, and teamwork. Eligible candidates may benefit from sign-on and retention schemes along with housing support.

Qualifications

• Must hold FAA Commercial rotorcraft certificate.
• Rotorcraft instrument rating required.
• FAA Class II Medical Certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Transport customers with medical team to locations and facilities.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for dispatch following manuals, FARs and Med-Trans requirements.
• Maintain Med-Trans and regulatory documentation and records.
• Communicate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift-change information for recording Med-Trans changes.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

Job description

• $99,410 - $109,351 including 12% Geographic Modifier
• 15K Sign on Bonus, subject to eligibility

Pilot Incentives

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches as described in the appropriate manuals, including all FAR and Med-Trans requirements, and aircraft cleanliness duties
• Maintain accurate Med-Trans and regulatory documentation and record keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners
• Provide shift change info to successive pilot and team following protocol for recording Med-Trans change board details
• Accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing training

Minimum Requirements

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
• Helicopter instrument rating
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours
• 1,500 Helicopter Hours
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours
• 1,000 Turbine Helicopter Hours
• 200 Helicopter Night Flight Hours (Aided or Unaided)

Preferred Qualifications

• EC130 Aircraft Experience
• High School Diploma/Equivalent or Higher
