Job summary

Med-Trans is hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transport services. Safety is a key pillar of our operations.

The role requires a rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate, helicopter instrument rating, and a valid FAA Class II Medical Certificate. You will work with a team of medical experts to transport patients, ensure aircraft readiness, and maintain essential regulatory documents and communications with dispatch and facilities.

Qualifications

• Current rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate required.
• Helicopter instrument rating required.
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours required.
• 1,500 Helicopter Hours required.
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours required.
• 1,000 Turbine Helicopter Hours required.
• 200 Helicopter Night Flight Hours (Aided or Unaided) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients with a medical team to locations and facilities.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatch and compliance with manuals, FARs, and Med-Trans requirements.
• Maintain regulatory documentation and records accurately.
• Communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift-change information to the next pilot per Med-Trans procedures.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

We’re hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation services to Med-Trans customers. Safety is a key pillar of our services.

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches as described in the appropriate manuals, including all FAR and Med-Trans requirements, and aircraft cleanliness duties
• Maintain accurate MTC and regulatory documentation and record keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners
• Provide shift change info to successive pilot and team following protocol for recording Med-Trans change board details
• Accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing training
