Job summary

Med-Trans is hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation for its customers. This full-time position requires extensive rotorcraft flight hours and current FAA credentials, with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

  • 1,000 Turbine Helicopter Hours.
  • 200 Helicopter Night Flight Hours.

Responsibilities

  • Transport customers safely as part of a medical flight team.
  • Maintain aircraft readiness per manuals and regulatory requirements.
  • Keep Med-Trans and regulatory documentation up to date.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, crews, facilities, and partners.
  • Provide shift-change information to the next pilot per procedures.
  • Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

  • Salary Range: $102,072 - $112,280 including 15% Geographic Modifier
  • 15K Sign on Bonus, subject to eligibility
  • Retention Bonus plans ($40,000 after 3 years plus additional retention bonuses once completed)

Responsibilities

  • Working with a team of medical expertsto safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities
  • Ensure aircraft readiness as described in the appropriate manuals, including all FAR and Med-Trans requirements, and aircraft cleanliness duties
  • Maintain accurate Med-Trans and regulatory documentation and record keeping
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners
  • Provide shift change info to successive pilot and team following protocol for recording Med-Trans change board details
  • Accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing training

MinimumRequirements

  • Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
  • Helicopter instrument rating
  • Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
  • 2,000 Total Flight Hours
  • 1,500 Helicopter Hours
  • 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours
  • 1,000 Turbine Helicopter Hours

Preferred Qualifications
