Job summary

Global Medical Response seeks a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation. You will join a team delivering urgent care while maintaining safety, aircraft readiness, and regulatory compliance.

Minimum experience includes rotorcraft FAA commercial certificate, instrument rating, and 2,000 total flight hours. A 7/7 schedule, IFR stipend, and on-duty housing are among the benefits.

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
• Helicopter instrument rating.
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours.
• 1,500 Helicopter Hours.
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours.
• 1,000 Turbine Helicopter Hours.
• 200 Helicopter Night Flight Hours.
• 200 Helicopter Instrument Hours (Actual/Hood/SIM) 50 Hours Actual WX in Aircraft.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients safely with a team of medical experts.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatch per manuals and FAR/Med-Trans requirements.
• Maintain Med-Trans and regulatory documentation and records.
• Communicate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift change info to the next pilot and team per protocol.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

• 15K Sign on Bonus, subject to eligibility

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatch as described in the appropriate manuals, including all FAR and Med-Trans requirements, and aircraft cleanliness duties
• Maintain accurate Med-Trans and regulatory documentation and record keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners
• Provide shift change info to successive pilot and team following protocol for recording Med-Trans change board details
• Accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing training
