Job summary

Global Medical Response (GMR) seeks a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation for Med-Trans customers. You will ensure aircraft readiness, coordinate with dispatch and crews, and uphold regulatory documentation and safety standards.

Qualified candidates hold a rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate, instrument rating, and FAA Class II Medical Certificate with substantial helicopter hours. This full-time role offers on-site operations in New Mexico with potential bonuses and housing

Qualifications

• Must hold a rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
• Instrument rating required for operation.
• FAA Class II Medical Certificate required for medical transport duties.
• Minimum flight hour thresholds as listed above must be met.
• B407 aircraft experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of medical professionals to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches per manuals and regulatory requirements, including FARs and Med-Trans rules.
• Maintain accurate Med-Trans and regulatory documentation and records.
• Communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift-change information to the next pilot and team per protocol for the Med-Trans change board.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

We’re hiring aHelicopter Pilotto provide medical air transportation services to Med-Trans customers. Safety is a key pillar of our services.

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical expertstosafelytransport customers to and fromlocations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches as described in the appropriate manuals, including all FARand Med-Trans requirements, andaircraft cleanlinessduties
• Maintain accurate Med-Trans and regulatory documentation and record keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews,facilities,and partners
• Provide shift change info to successive pilot and team following protocol for recordingMed-Trans change boarddetails
• Accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing training

MinimumRequirements

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
• Helicopter instrument rating
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours
• 1,500 Helicopter Hours
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours
• 1,000 Turbine Helicopter Hours
• 200 Helicopter Night Flight Hours (Aided or Unaided)
