Job summary

Med-Trans is seeking a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation services to our customers. This full-time role requires collaborating with a team of medical experts to safely transport patients and to ensure aircraft readiness, regulatory compliance, and precise documentation.

The position demands current rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate, helicopter instrument rating, and a Class II Medical Certificate, with thousands of flight hours including turbine time.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
• Must have helicopter instrument rating.
• Must hold a current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
• Total flight hours: 2,000.
• Helicopter hours: 1,500 total helicopter hours; 1,000 helicopter PIC hours.
• 1,000 turbine helicopter hours.
• 200 night helicopter hours.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients with medical teams to locations per procedures.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatch per manuals and FARs.
• Maintain Med-Trans and regulatory documentation.
• Communicate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift change info following Med-Trans change board procedures.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

We’re hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation services to Med-Trans customers. Safety is a key pillar of our services.

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches as described in the appropriate manuals, including all FAR and Med-Trans requirements, and aircraft cleanliness duties
• Maintain accurate Med-Trans and regulatory documentation and record keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners
• Provide shift change info to successive pilot and team following protocol for recording Med-Trans change board details
• Accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing training

Minimum Requirements

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
• Helicopter instrument rating
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours
• 1,500 Helicopter Hours
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours
• 1,000 Turbine Helicopter Hours
• 200 Helicopter Night Flight Hours (Aided or Unaided)

Preferred Qualifications

• B407 Aircraft Experience
• High School Diploma/Equivalent or Higher
• Upload your Pilot License and FAA Medical Certificate
