Job summary

Med-Trans Corporation in Texas is seeking a Helicopter Pilot for a full-time role in medical air transport. The position features a total compensation potential and a substantial bonus program, with on-duty housing and the chance to contribute to life-saving missions in HEMS.

Responsibilities include coordinating with medical experts to transfer patients safely, ensuring aircraft readiness, and maintaining regulatory documentation while coordinating with dispatch and crews.

Qualifications

  • Must hold rotorcraft FAA Commercial certificate.
  • Helicopter instrument rating required.
  • Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate required.
  • Total Flight Hours: 2000; Helicopter Hours: 1500; PIC Hours: 1000; Turbine Hours: 1000; Night Hours: 200.

Responsibilities

  • Safely transport patients with a medical team to/from locations.
  • Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatch per manuals and Med-Trans requirements.
  • Maintain MTC and regulatory documentation and record keeping.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
  • Provide shift-change information to the next pilot and team.
  • Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

We’re hiring aHelicopter Pilotto provide medical air transportation services to Med-Trans customers. Safety is a key pillar of our services.

Responsibilities
  • Working with a team of medical expertstosafelytransport customers to and fromlocations and facilities
  • Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatchesas described in the appropriate manuals,includingallFARand Med-Transrequirements, andaircraft cleanlinessduties
  • MaintainaccurateMTC and regulatorydocumentation andrecord keeping
  • Effectively communicate and collaboratewith dispatch, flight crews,facilities,and partners
  • Provide shift change infoto successive pilotandteam followingprotocol forrecordingMed-Trans change boarddetails
  • Accountable tomaintainrequiredcertifications and ongoing training
MinimumRequirements
