Job summary

REACH Air Medical Services is hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation. Start salary ranges from $97,635 to $107,398 with a 10% geo modifier included.

A $15,000 sign-on bonus and a $40,000 retention bonus after 36 months are offered, with off-duty housing and a 7/7 schedule in place. Responsibilities include transporting customers with a team of medical experts, ensuring aircraft readiness per FAR and company standards, maintaining records, and coordinating with dispatch

Qualifications

• Current rotorcraft FAA Commercial certificate required.
• Helicopter instrument rating required.
• FAA Class II Medical Certificate required.
• Minimum flight hours as specified in ad.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients safely as part of medical air transport team.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatch and maintain cleanliness.
• Maintain documentation and records per Company and regulatory standards.
• Communicate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners.
• Provide shift change information following protocol.

• Starting Salary Range: $97,635- $107,398; 10% geo modifier included, not additional.
• 15K Sign-On Bonus upon completion of new hire pilot training
• 40K Retention Bonus after 36 Months in the GMR Pilot Retention Bonus Plan
• Off-Duty Housing is provided
• 7/7 Schedule

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches as described in the appropriate manuals, including all FAR and Company requirements, and maintain aircraft cleanliness
• Maintain accurate Company and regulatory documentation and record keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners
• Provide shift change information to successive pilot and team following protocol for recording Company change board details
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training

Minimum Requirements

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
• Helicopter instrument rating
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours
• 2,000 helicopter flight hours
• 1,000 helicopter PIC hours
• 1,000 turbine hours
• Minimum 200 helicopter night hours (aided and/or unaided)
• 230 pound weight limit with flight gear

Aircraft Experience

• Previous Airbus AS350/ H125 or similar aircraft experience preferred, but not required.
