Job summary

Global Medical Response is hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transport services. You will work with medical experts to transport patients safely and ensure aircraft readiness while adhering to FAR and Med-Trans requirements.

The role requires rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate, instrument rating, Class II medical, and thousands of flight hours across rotorcraft and turbine platforms. On-duty housing and a 7/7 schedule are offered.

Qualifications

• Must hold current rotorcraft FAA commercial certificate.
• Instrument rating and Class II medical certificate required.
• Minimum flight hours as stated in the job postings.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport customers with a team of medical experts.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatch per manuals and FAR/Med-Trans requirements.
• Maintain regulatory documentation and record keeping.
• Communicate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners.
• Provide shift change info to successive pilot and team per board protocols.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical expertstosafelytransport customers to and fromlocations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatchesas described in the appropriate manuals,includingallFARand Med-Trans requirements, andaircraft cleanlinessduties
• MaintainaccurateMed-Trans and regulatorydocumentation andrecord keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaboratewith dispatch, flight crews,facilities,and partners
• Provide shift change infoto successive pilotandteam followingprotocol forrecordingMed-Trans change boarddetails
• Accountable tomaintainrequiredcertifications and ongoing training

MinimumRequirements

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
• Helicopter instrument rating
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours
• 1,500 Helicopter Hours
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours
• 500 Turbine Helicopter Hours
• 200 Helicopter Night Flight Hours (Aided or Unaided)

Preferred Qualifications

• B407 Aircraft Experience
• High School Diploma/Equivalent or Higher
