Job summary

Med-Trans Corporation is hiring a Helicopter Pilot for full-time medical air transport services. The role requires a current rotorcraft FAA Commercial certificate, instrument rating, and FAA Class II Medical, with extensive flight hours including helicopter, PIC, turbine, and night hours.

You will work with a team to ensure safe transport and maintain regulatory documentation. We offer a comprehensive compensation package with a $109k–$120k salary range plus a $15k sign-on bonus and retention

Qualifications

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
• Helicopter instrument rating required.
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours required.
• 1,500 Helicopter Hours required.
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours required.
• 1,000 Turbine Helicopter Hours required.
• 200 Helicopter Night Flight Hours (Aided or Unaided).

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities.
• Ensure aircraft readiness as described in manuals, including FARs and Med-Trans requirements, and aircraft cleanliness duties.
• Maintain accurate Med-Trans and regulatory documentation and record keeping.
• Communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift change information to successive pilot and team following protocol for recording Med-Trans change board details.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

• Salary Range: $109,173 - $120,091 including 23% Geographic Modifier
• 15K Sign on Bonus, subject to eligibility
• Retention Bonus Plans ($40,000 after 3 years plus additional retention bonuses once completed)
