Job summary

Amentum is seeking an experienced aircraft maintenance technician in Maryland to service H-60 and S-70 aircraft. You will apply advanced electrical knowledge to diagnose and repair complex problems, tracing circuits, and sustaining environmental and electrical systems while using specialized test equipment.

This role requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance, read technical data, and coordinate with Modification Teams.

Qualifications

• Meet at least one of: A&P certification, FCC license, or military aviation maintenance training.
• Experience with H-60 or S-70 aircraft is highly preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical data and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Apply advanced technical knowledge to solve complex electrical problems.
• Troubleshoot and repair avionics, wiring, and mission-critical systems.
• Coordinate workloads with the Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor and ensure data entry into MIS.
• Assist modification teams and monitor quality assurance reports.
• Maintain supply discipline and ensure access to technical data and tools.
