Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Lead Helicopter Maintenance Electronic Tech IV to address complex electrical issues on H-60/S-70 platforms. The role requires independent circuit analysis, troubleshooting, and direct technical leadership of maintenance teams in support of avionics and comms systems.

Responsibilities include coordinating workloads, ensuring maintenance data accuracy in MIS, and supporting modification teams while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of recent aircraft maintenance on H-60 or S-70.
• FAA A&P certification or FCC license.
• U.S. military aviation maintenance training with ≥1 year recent experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain electrical and environmental systems.
• Use test equipment including TDRs and oscilloscopes for diagnostics.
• Provide technical direction to maintenance personnel on COMSEC equipment and systems.
• Assist in part requisitioning and determining reparability.
• Monitor aircraft in work and coordinate workloads with supervisors.
• Ensure data is entered into MIS and maintenance forms.
• Support modification teams with prep and reassembly.
• Monitor QA reports and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain access to technical data and hazardous materials guidance.
• Work shifts including day, swing, night, and weekends.
