Job summary

Atlas Search seeks a senior operations leader to oversee Liquid Operations across Global Trade, Treasury and Transaction Operations, including data, reconciliations, confirmations and EOD P&L, plus asset servicing. The role directs four Directors, ensuring accountability, delegation, and strong execution across the organization.

Responsibilities include maintaining senior oversight of core processes, incident resolution, and maintaining a robust control environment with quarterly assessments.

Lead Liquid Operations across Global Trade Operations, Treasury Operations, Transaction

Operations—including data, reconciliations, confirmations and EOD P&L—and Asset

Manage and provide strategic direction to four Directors, ensuring clear accountability,

appropriate delegation, and effective execution across the organization.

Maintain senior oversight of core operational processes, including trade processing, treasury

activities, reconciliations, confirmations, asset servicing, EOD P&L review, and related

controls.

Own the resolution of significant operational issues and incidents, coordinating across relevant

teams and escalating material matters with sound judgment.

Maintain accountability for the Liquid Operations control environment, including quarterly

control assessments and remediation of identified issues.

Foster a collaborative, high-accountability culture and create opportunities for managers and

junior team members to take on greater responsibility.

Leverage offshore resources and service providers effectively to support a scalable and

efficient operating model.

Business Enablement & Operating Strategy

Translate Firm and investment business decisions into operational processes, controls, data,

technology, and infrastructure requirements.

Lead the Operations components of new fund launches, investment strategies, counterparties,

and other Firm initiatives.

Ensure operational readiness for new counterparties and relationship types, including internal

setup, reporting, reconciliations, settlement instructions, SWIFT capabilities, trade files, and

fund administrator connectivity.

Develop a strong understanding of the business rationale behind new initiatives and ask the

appropriate questions to identify downstream operational implications.

Partner closely with Global Trading Desks, Portfolio Finance, Treasury, Accounting, Legal,

Compliance and Technology to support the Firm’s investment activities and strategic

priorities.

Serve as a senior escalation point for complex operational matters and maintain strong

working relationships with prime brokers, custodians, administrators, banks, and other

external counterparties.

Constructively challenge proposed operating approaches when they create unnecessary risk,

are not scalable, or can be implemented more effectively.
