Job summary

Graybar is seeking a Heavy Warehouse Material Handler in Irving, TX. The role involves receiving, storing, selecting, packing, and shipping warehouse inventory using a Warehouse Management System.

You will cut wire and cable, load and bundle materials, and ensure safety and cleanliness in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include operating forklifts and pallet jacks, performing daily safety inspections, and meeting carrier pickup schedules while adhering to WMS procedures and safety

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical requirements: stand, walk, bend, lift up to 70 pounds.
• Operate warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts, push carts) per safety instructions.
• Follow WMS processes for receiving, storing, picking, packing, shipping.
• Maintain clean, safe, organized warehouse and perform daily safety inspections.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, select, pack, and ship warehouse inventory using WMS.
• Cut wire and cable with machines and prepare per order specifications.
• Load, measure, cut, spool, and bundle wires and cables as required.
• Select and pack UPS and non-UPS orders according to WMS for packaging and loading.
• Conduct cycle counts, locate stock, and report discrepancies.
• Meet carrier pickup schedules for shipments and cross-dock operations.
