Job summary

Graybar is seeking a Heavy Warehouse Material Handler to receive, store, select, pack, and ship inventory in a fast-paced environment. Our employee-owned culture emphasizes safety and continuous growth through the use of a Warehouse Management System (WMS).

Work shifts run Monday to Friday, 10:00am–7:00pm, with a compensation rate of $24.50 per hour (base $22.50 plus $2.00 department differential). Steel-toed boots are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical duties including lifting up to 70 pounds.
• Experience with warehouse equipment operation per manufacturer instructions.
• Comfort with ongoing safety procedures and PPE usage.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, select, pack, and ship inventory using WMS.
• Cut wire and cable and prepare products for orders.
• Load, measure, cut, spool, and bundle wires and cables.
• Perform daily safety inspections and keep the warehouse clean.
• Process UPS and non-UPS orders following WMS.
• Conduct cycle counts and reconcile stock discrepancies.
