Job summary

Graybar is seeking a Lead Warehouse Material Handler in Irving, TX. You will direct daily warehouse activities, operate forklifts and a pallet jack, and ensure materials move efficiently under our WMS guidelines.

The role includes receiving, storing, picking, packing and shipping while maintaining safety standards. The position requires leadership, 4+ years of warehousing experience, and the ability to work a 11:00am–8:00pm shift with overtime.

Qualifications

• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) required.
• 4+ years warehousing experience preferred.
• Must pass pre-employment physical testing.
• No fear of heights.

Responsibilities

• Lead the work in an assigned area under the Warehouse Manager.
• Operate pallet jacks, forklifts and push carts safely.
• Receive and store incoming material per WMS processes.
• Select, pack and palletize shipments; prepare for loading.
• Sort and pack LTL shipments; conduct cycle counts.
• Maintain a clean, safe warehouse and perform daily safety inspections.
