Job summary

Graybar is seeking a warehouse associate in Union City, CA to receive, store, pick, pack and ship inventory using a Warehouse Management System (WMS). The role requires interpreting orders, cutting wire and cable, and handling materials safely in a fast-paced environment.

You will operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other equipment, perform daily safety inspections, and contribute to accurate counts and stock organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and lift up to 70 pounds.
• Experience operating pallet jacks, forklifts, and other large machinery.
• Ability to work in varied temperatures and weather conditions.
• Must follow safety procedures and PPE usage.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical duties to lift and move inventory.
• Operate warehouse equipment and large machinery per instructions.
• Maintain the warehouse in an orderly state and follow safety procedures.
• Cut wire and cable with machines and ensure accuracy.
• Fill orders, measure, cut, spool, and bundle wires per orders.
• Receive, identify, break down, and store material per WMS.
• Pack and ship UPS orders following WMS packing steps.
• Conduct cycle counts and verify bin locations; handle stock discrepancies.
