Job summary

Mohegan Sun is seeking a dependable Kitchen Steward to perform deep cleaning of kitchen surfaces and equipment, ensuring sanitation standards and supporting a fast-paced culinary team.

The role involves cleaning walls, floors, ceilings, and cooking equipment, plus assisting with other stewarding tasks. You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, participate in various shifts, and work on-site in Connecticut.

Qualifications

• Must understand and complete multiple tasks with minimum supervision.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning methods.

Responsibilities

• Cleans kitchen surfaces including walls, floors and ceilings.
• Cleans kitchen equipment including pots, pans, fryers, ovens, kettles, refrigerators, ventilation hoods and any other equipment.
• Assists with other stewarding duties, as needed.
• Removes all trash and recyclable materials from designated areas to appropriate containers.
