Job summary

Mohegan Sun in Connecticut seeks a dedicated kitchen steward to perform deep cleaning of all kitchen surfaces and equipment within a fast-paced environment.

You will clean walls, floors, ceilings and a wide range of equipment including pots, pans, fryers, ovens, kettles, refrigerators and ventilation hoods, while assisting with other stewarding duties as needed. Must lift up to 50 lbs and work flexible shifts in accordance with sanitation guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must understand and complete multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
• Ability to use caustic chemicals and operate cleaning equipment such as a pressure washer.

Responsibilities

• Cleans kitchen surfaces including walls, floors and ceilings.

Position Summary

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Cleans kitchen surfaces including walls, floors and ceilings
• Cleans kitchen equipment including pots, pans, fryers, ovens, kettles, refrigerators, ventilation hoods and any other equipment
• Assists with other stewarding duties, as needed

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities

• Removes all trash and recyclable materials from designated areas to appropriate containers

Minimum Education and Qualifications

• Must be able to understand and complete multiple tasks assigned with minimum supervision
• Ability to use caustic chemicals and operate various cleaning equipment such as a pressure washer
