Qualifications

• 3+ years of heavy line technician experience in a dealership environment.
• Diagnose engine, transmission, drivability and electrical system issues using diagnostic equipment.
• Ford experience and Ford certifications are required/preferred.
• ASE certifications are desirable and beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex engine, transmission, drivetrain, steering, suspension and electrical concerns.
• Perform heavy line repairs including engine replacements and major drivability diagnostics.
• Utilize Ford diagnostic equipment and procedures to identify issues.
• Complete repairs with high quality and minimize comebacks.
• Document repairs and communicate findings with Service Advisors and customers.
