Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Perform repairs as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy.
  • Diagnose the cause of malfunctions and determine appropriate solutions.
  • Road-test vehicles to verify repair quality and safety.
  • Record time spent on repairs using company clocking procedures.
  • Document work performed on repair orders and test results.
  • Maintain and inventory common mechanic tools and ensure readiness.
  • Acquire and maintain manufacturer and ASE certifications via training.
  • Review technical bulletins and manufacturer publications as assigned.
  • Communicate with dealership personnel to meet customer needs.
  • Report any safety risks to management and ensure a safe workplace.
