Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Site Construction Manager to lead field operations at client project sites across the United States. You will manage safety, quality, scheduling, and client relations while representing the company on site and coordinating with subcontractors and project teams.

The role requires extensive construction management experience, the ability to work in the field 100% of the time, and a strong focus on safety and compliance. Travel is 100% across project locations.

Qualifications

• Requires 12+ years of relevant construction management experience (high school or higher).
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in CM/Engineering with relevant supervision experience.
• Experience leading large-scale heavy industrial projects and coordinating multiple subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee subcontractors to ensure safety, quality, and adherence to drawings.
• Maintain project schedule and escalate delays to the PM.
• Prepare daily and quality inspection reports for project records.
• Capture progress photos and document site activities.
• Support contract changes and progress payments with the Project Manager.
• Communicate clearly with management and clients on project issues.
