Job summary

Alcrete is seeking a Dispatcher-Heavy Hauling professional to coordinate with the Project Manager and production teams, assuring schedules, loading, and delivery align with customer timelines.

The role involves coordinating transport resources, communicating with drivers and clients, and ensuring DOT/safety requirements are met. Strong organizational and planning skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Dispatch experience.
• Industry experience within construction and/or construction materials.
• Excellent work ethic with a positive attitude and ability to thrive in a demanding environment of teamwork and constant change.
• Experience reading plans (civil, architectural, structural, or electrical).
• Experience working in a similar office environment (engineering, architectural, manufacturing, or construction).
• Titan ERP software experience is a plus.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with customers regarding production and delivery timelines.
• Work with transportation resources, internal and external, to arrange shipments and deliveries.
• Ensure transportation resources understand requirements for deliveries (DOT, safety).
• Back up production scheduling as needed.
• Communicate professionally with drivers, production supervisors, and clients to maximize service, production, and delivery efficiency.
• Receive, record, and dispatch orders to approved customers.
• Plan loads for delivery to ensure deliveries are optimized and meet transportation requirements.
• Communicate deliveries with customers to ensure receipt of delivery at the customer site.
