Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Sourcing & Supply Manager to lead procurement strategy for a Fortune 500 client portfolio.

This role collaborates with operations, engineers, and senior stakeholders to design superior transportation solutions and manages a small procurement team. The candidate will act as a specialist in heavy-haul, over-dimensional, project cargo, and high-value freight, offering guidance to customers, sales teams, and carriers while expanding Ryder's capabilities across data

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics or related field.
7+ years of experience required.
Experience in presenting to internal & external customers; negotiations; building strategic relationships.

Responsabilités

Develop and refine procurement strategy for a portfolio of Fortune 500 clients.
Serve as subject-matter expert for heavy-haul, over-dimensional, project cargo, and high-value freight.
Build and maintain executive-level relationships with customers and transportation providers.
Lead customer-facing discussions and transportation strategy reviews.
Evaluate transportation requirements and recommend strategies, configurations, and execution approaches.
Collaborate with carriers and partners on routing feasibility, permits, and site access.
