Guardian Fleet Services Inc. is seeking a Specialized Transportation Driver in Mableton, GA to move oversized and heavy loads using Landoll or Lowboy trailers. CDL A with 2+ years of heavy-haul experience required; we offer strong pay, sign-on bonuses, and comprehensive benefits.

You'll inspect equipment, follow permits, and coordinate with dispatch while maintaining safety and compliance on every run, including extended travel and varied hours. Join a team focused on reliability and safety.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A license with clean driving record.
• 2–5 years in heavy haul, specialized transport, or lowboy operations.
• Proficient in advanced load securement techniques and rigging equipment.
• Ability to read permits, route surveys, and pilot/escort instructions.

Responsabilités

• Operate heavy-haul trucks and specialized trailers to transport oversized, overweight, and high-value equipment.
• Load, secure, and unload machinery and components using chains, binders, straps, and blocking.
• Read and follow oversize/overweight permits and pilot/escort instructions.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of vehicle and equipment.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, escort vehicles, customers, and job-site personnel.
• Ensure compliance with DOT, state, and local regulations; maintain logs and load documentation.
• Identify and report mechanical issues; perform minor troubleshooting when necessary.
• Maintain a clean, organized truck and uphold safety policies.
• Work flexible hours, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and extended travel.
