Job summary

FedEx Logistics is seeking an on-site equipment operator to safely move packages, documents and heavyweight freight using appropriate equipment. You will assist in pallet buildup and breakdown and coordinate with ULD repair vendors when required.

The position is an early morning shift (Tue–Sat, 3:00 AM–8:00 AM) with a pay rate of $21.06/hour plus a $4.00 premium. Valid driver’s license required and a drug screen/criminal background check will be conducted.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs from ground to chest level.
• Ability to maneuver packages above shoulder level and in enclosed spaces.
• Willingness to perform duties in various weather conditions and environments.

Responsibilities

• Operates equipment safely for movement of packages/documents/heavyweight, dangerous goods and ULDs.
• Assists in buildup/breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight.
• Acts as liaison between FedEx and ULD repair vendors as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
