R-2 Contractors in Prineville, Oregon, seeks an experienced Diesel Mechanic to maintain and repair our on‑road fleet. You will diagnose, service, and repair diesel trucks and DOT vehicles, performing preventive maintenance and inspections.

Formación

• 6+ years of diesel truck heavy equipment mechanic experience required.
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and perform physical labor.
• Must have own tools; specialty tools provided by company.
• CDL Class A or B preferred, or willingness to obtain one.
• Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our growing team in Prineville, Oregon. As a Truck/Heavy Equipment Mechanic at R-2 Contractors, you will play a crucial role in the upkeep and performance of our on-road fleet. This position involves diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing diesel trucks and DOT vehicles to ensure safe and efficient operations.
