Job summary

R-2 Contractors is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our growing team in AZ or OR, with travel. The role focuses on diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing diesel trucks and DOT vehicles to ensure safe, efficient operations.

You will perform preventative maintenance, document repairs, and communicate with supervisors. A minimum of 6+ years' experience, knowledge of DOT regulations, ability to lift up to 100 pounds, and owning your tools are required (specialty tools provided).

Qualifications

• 6+ years of diesel truck and heavy equipment mechanic experience.
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance.
• Able to lift up to 100 pounds and perform physical labor.
• Must own tools; specialty tools provided by company.
• CDL Class A or B preferred, or willingness to obtain one.
• Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities
