Job summary

All Roads Company is seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to diagnose, service, and repair Vermeer and related construction equipment at Vermeer All Roads - Ashland. The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, hydraulic and electrical diagnostic ability, and weld within a hands-on team environment.

The full-time position offers hourly pay ranging from $25 to $35 plus production bonuses and a sign-on bonus up to $5,000 for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude with hydraulic and electrical diagnostic capability.
• Experience working on heavy equipment or heavy-duty trucks.
• Proficient at documenting work in CDK and maintaining records.
• Detail oriented, organized, safety focused and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair & recondition Vermeer equipment.
• Diagnose malfunctions including hydraulic and electrical issues.
• Welding as needed to maintain equipment.
• Provide accurate repair estimates and communicate with the Service Manager.
• Create repair estimates; CDK experience a plus.
• Coordinate with OEM/factory for technical assistance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Are you a self-starter who enjoys working with diesel engines and problem solving? We are excited to bring on a new addition as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic. This role will diagnose, service, and repair Vermeer and related construction equipment. Compensation & Schedule

• $25-$35 per hour (based on experience)
• Production bonuses available
• Sign on bonus up to $5000 for qualified candidates

Key Responsibilities

• Service, repair & recondition Vermeer equipment
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions including hydraulic & electrical experience
• Welding as needed
• Recognize and recommend appropriate repairs to the Service Manager
• Create accurate repair estimates, CDK experience a plus
• Communicate with OEM/factory for technical assistance
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements
