Job summary

Kokosing Construction is seeking a Heavy Equipment Technician in Middletown, OH. You will repair and maintain large construction equipment in the field and shop, focusing on diesel engines, transmissions, electrical and hydraulic systems.

The role requires a two-year technical degree in diesel technology or heavy equipment mechanics and 5+ years of experience preferred. Day shift: Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm, with Saturdays as needed.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree in diesel technology, heavy equipment mechanics, or similar preferred.
• 5+ years’ experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair transmissions, engines, differentials, electrical and hydraulic components on heavy construction equipment.
• Utilize a laptop for information and diagnostics for safe assembly/disassembly of components.
• Write and complete service reports.
• Participate in company training programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned; focus includes trucks, trailers and small equipment as needed.
