Job summary

Foresight Energy is seeking a maintenance technician to service construction and mining equipment on site in Ohio. You will follow directions, monitor machine conditions, and diagnose issues quickly to minimize downtime.

The role requires 2+ years of relevant experience, diesel certification or equivalent, and ability to lift tools up to 50 lbs. CDL may be preferred and welding is a plus. A competitive hourly wage and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in construction/mining equipment (CAT preferred); diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Ability to use electronic diagnostic tools and computers and read schematics and maintenance manuals.
• Ability to lift tools and parts as required (50 lb minimum).
• Diesel certificate, OEM certificate, and/or Associates Degree in Diesel Technology.
• Welding experience preferred.
• Provide necessary hand tools; larger tools/rigging provided on site.
• New Miner Training for Surface.

Responsibilities

• Follow management's direction on maintenance and repair tasks.
• Independently monitor conditions of machinery.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues on machinery in a timely manner.
• Order and track parts as needed.
• Work outside in all-weather/environmental conditions.
• Maintain work tickets and maintenance records.
• Dayshift M-F, with Saturdays and on-call as needed.
