Job summary

Foley Equipment is the authorized Caterpillar dealer in Kansas and NW Missouri. The Equipment Technician role focuses on troubleshooting, servicing and repairing heavy machinery in the shop, including CAT earthmoving equipment.

Expect hands-on maintenance, diagnostics, parts handling and frequent travel for training or to support other sites. Ideal candidates have basic mechanical knowledge across electrical and hydraulics, basic hand tools, welding experience (MIG/Stick), and the ability to

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical knowledge including electrical and hydraulics.
• Read and comprehend specifications, service and parts literature, technical bulletins and related publications.
• Welding experience (MIG and Stick).

Responsibilities

• Perform repair and preventative maintenance on heavy machinery in the shop.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot problems and recommend/execute repairs.
• Remove/install parts, disassemble/assemble components, test and adjust assemblies.
• Travel for training and to assist at other locations.
