Job summary

Foley Equipment in Kansas/NW Missouri seeks an Equipment Technician to troubleshoot, service and repair heavy machinery, including CAT earthmoving equipment. You will diagnose problems, perform repairs, and test adjustments in a shop setting with minimal supervision.

Requirements include basic mechanical knowledge with electrical and hydraulics, welding experience (MIG/Stick), ability to read specifications, service literature and bulletins, and willingness to travel for training.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical knowledge including electrical and hydraulics.
• Welding background (Mig and Stick experience).
• Must be able to read and comprehend specifications, service and parts literature, technical bulletins and other related publications.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair heavy machinery in shop and field.
• Perform preventative maintenance and critical repairs.
• Disassemble/assemble components and test assemblies.
• Develop relationships with customers and travel for training or to assist at other locations.
